How to Pick Up
You can save on delivery costs by opting to pick up your material. This can save from $275-$750 depending on your location. Pick up will-call is available at the following locations, and only available to customers in select areas and depending on seasonality, i.e. during the busy months, Patio Kits Direct may suspend the availability of pick up in order to control the flow of materials coming in and out of our yard. Your patio cover will be available for delivery if this is the case.

Material is produced and transferred to will-call facilities or our Wildomar location. You will be notified when your kit is ready for pick up. Transportation details: kits typically require a pick up truck with a ladder rack, trailer, or U-Haul. Material can be spliced upon request to accommodate your transportation needs.
For example, if you order a 12×20 patio cover, your longest piece will be 20’6” unless spliced. Splicing is not always an option depending on your quantity of posts. Please contact a sales representative to help you determine your longest piece.
Please arrive with proper transportation for loading your material, i.e. truck with ladder rack or flat bed trailer. Material will not be loaded onto unconventional transportation methods to limit the opportunity of damage i.e. boat trailers, sedans.
Please make sure to bring the proper straps in order to secure your material after loading.
PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to load your kit on to your own transportation. We recommend removing the bundles from the pallet and loading each piece individually. This is a great opportunity to inspect your material for damage. Please report any damaged material before leaving the yard. If damaged material leaves the yard, Patio Kits Direct will be unable to file a claim to produce replacement material free of charge.
Due to the savings received by opting for the pick up option, we do not offer compensation for vehicles or trailers rented, time spent transporting, or time spent if multiple trips are required to pick up your material.
Customer is responsible for planning and arranging proper transportation for their pick up.
– You are responsible for loading your own kit.
– Report any damage before leaving the yard.
– Report any shortages before leaving the yard.
– We are unable to file a claim if you leave the yard without reporting damaged or shorted material.
If there are any material’s missing from your kit, Patio Kits Direct will arrange for the materials to be reproduced by the manufacture. These replacement materials are required to be picked up at the manufacturer per the terms of the original purchase. Replacement materials will not be shipped to customer without collecting payment for delivery.
Our in-house Delivery team will deliver your Patio Kit with a white glove service (transportation to your backyard available). Our delivery team delivers within 100 miles of Sacramento, 100 miles of Phoenix, and to almost all Southern California locations. Please check with your representative if your zip code is within our delivery region.
Please NOTE: white glove delivery available to backyard, however, our drivers are not required to navigate stairways, transport to a second story balcony, or transport material up or down hillsides. Please notify your customer service representative if you question your terrain, materials will be off loaded to nearest manageable terrain in these cases.
Material is produced and transferred from manufacturer facilities. Once material is ready for the customer, customer will receive a text message from our delivery app which will show your delivery scheduled. Customer will be contacted via Phone by Customer Service to confirm delivery date and timeframe. Please NOTE: Do not schedule your build until confirmed with customer service, as delivery time frame may change prior to confirmation. The link provided will allow you to track the driver’s progress on his way to your residence.
Patio Kits Direct does not require homeowners to be home at the time of delivery, our drivers will place your material anywhere in your yard (we do not transport to second stories or up/ down stairways or hills).
Notify us of the damage within 5 business days. File a claim within 5 days as well as a list of which parts were damaged, we will replace any and all parts damaged upon shipping at no additional cost, as long as damage is reported to our Operations team (888) 851 8351
Please provide 4-10 photos of the damage incurred. If reports are not filed within 5 business days, Patio Kits Direct is unable to file a claim for new material with the manufacturer.
Please note; a driver must be able to drive into your neighborhood. If our drivers is unable, or feels unsafe about the delivery, they will hold your material at the transfer station for customer to arrange your own pickup .
– Please DO NOT schedule your build until you have received your KIT and thoroughly inspected it.
– Please DO NOT schedule time off work to receive kit until you have confirmed the time of delivery with the freight carrier.
– Patio Kits Direct is not liable for compensation for lost time due to late deliveries on the carrier’s side. Although uncommon, freight delays sometimes occur. Freight is not delivered on holidays or weekends.
– Returns / Refunds are not accepted, as each kit is manufactured custom to your order.
